Kate Goyette is an artist, professional printer, and instructor who makes prints, drawings, and cut paper pieces or "cut-outs". Born and raised in New Hampshire, Kate currently lives and works in Oakland, CA. She earned a BS in Studio Arts from Skidmore College, an MFA in 2D Fine Arts with a focus on Printmaking from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and has completed the Printer Training Program at Tamarind Institute.

Kate has worked in various fine art print studios over the years including Highpoint Editions, Muskat Studios, Oehme Graphics, and Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. Prior to the pandemic, she worked as the Printmaking Studio Manager at California College of the Arts (CCA) and instructed workshops at Kala Institute. Currently Kate makes her living as a union organizer.

As a professional printer, Kate has worked with artists from around the globe to complete print projects in lithography, etching, screenprinting, and relief.
